Before you dive into our knowledge base, customer support pages, “how to” articles, online teacher training courses, email training, marketing, our support services, social sites, or our Blog and news pages, we'd like to share the terms and rules that govern how you can use these “Informational Sites” so everyone can have a positive and safe experience.

Looking for the terms for using the Boom App? These terms are NOT the legal terms applicable to your use or your organization’s use of the Boom App (found at wow.boomlearning.com). For the terms applicable to use of the Boom App, Boom Cards, and other tools and services you purchase from Boom or Boom Card publishers who sell Boom Cards in the Boom Store, see the Terms of Service applicable to you at our Terms and Trust Center.

- Who Can Use Our Informational Sites? The Boom Learning Informational Sites are intended for adults—particularly teachers, school administrators, and education professionals engaging with us to learn about or gain access to the Boom products and services and investors or potential employees wanting to learn about our company. Our Informational Sites are not directed toward or meant for minors.
- What Sites are Covered? These terms cover our sites and services at www.boomlearning.com and our training modules in the Boom Training Academy, made available through integration with the LearnWorlds platform. They also include any content we post on our official social media accounts on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and Pinterest, among others. Finally, it covers all support and marketing communications (email and Help Chat box) between you and Boom, whether 1:1 or through subscribing to email alerts.
- Changes to our Informational Sites: We’re always looking for ways to improve Boom Learning. That means we may change our Informational Sites from time to time. We may also update these Informational Sites Terms. When we do, we’ll post the changes here. By continuing to use the site after updates, you’re agreeing to the new terms.
- Personal Data and Privacy
The privacy notice applicable to our Informational Sites is our Informational Site Privacy Notice, which provides information about the types of information we may collect while you use our Informational Sites and your rights regarding that data. Information covered includes personal data you may provide to obtain a newsletter, sign up for a teacher training course, or submit in questions with our support team. We do not sell personal information.

The content on our Informational Sites—like articles, training courses, blog posts, and training videos—are here to help you grow as an educator and are the intellectual property of Boom Learning. Unless we explicitly say otherwise:

You are welcome to use our content for personal or professional use within your school or classroom.
- You may not copy, redistribute, or modify any of our content for commercial purposes without our prior consent. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or translate our products, software or applications.
- Boom Training Academy content distribution for personal or professional use (e.g. to offer training about our products) requires signing an appropriate agreement with our Professional Development team.

- If you post any excerpt of content from our Informational Sites to any site available to the public, you grant Boom Learning and the publisher permission to repost that content plus your additions.

- Boom Learning's names and logos are the trademarks, trade names, and/or service marks of Boom Learning. Our publishers’ names and logos are the trademarks, trade names, and/or service marks of our publishers.
- You may use our names to describe us in reviews.
- Using our names and logos must comply with our guidelines.
- For all other uses, ask for written permission from us first.
- Be Respectful and Lawful: To keep the Informational Sites useful and welcoming for everyone, we ask that you follow a few simple rules while you're here:
- Don’t break the law: This includes downloading or sharing copyrighted content, harassing others, or doing anything fraudulent.
- Be respectful: The Informational Sites are for learning, not for trolling, spamming, posting private information, or posting offensive content.
- Protect your account: If you create an account with us, keep your password safe and don’t share it with others.
- Payment Terms: If your use of the Informational Sites involves a payment to us, the Payment Terms that apply are the Payment Terms in either our Boom App Terms of Service (for Individuals and Publishers) or our District Terms of Service (for organizations). Those Payment Terms are incorporated into these terms by reference.
- NO WARRANTIES - "AS IS": Our Informational Sites and all their content is provided "as is" and is subject to change without notice. While we strive to ensure everything is accurate and helpful, we don’t make guarantees about the completeness, reliability, or availability of our site. Use it at your own risk.
- LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: Boom Learning and its directors, agents, employees, and service providers will not be responsible for any damages or losses from using our Informational Sites, whether they are direct, indirect, or accidental.
- Applicable Law: These Informational Site Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Washington (excluding Washington’s conflict of laws rules) and the laws of the United States. In case of a dispute, you agree to the personal jurisdiction in, and exclusive venue of, the federal or state courts located in King County in the State of Washington.
- Assignment to a Successor Company: To the extent permitted by law, we may assign any rights we have under any agreement to any successor or purchaser of our company or of our assets. Such a successor or purchaser will agree to be bound by the terms. If you assign your rights or obligations to another party, you must give us written notice of the assignment no later than ten (10) business days following the assignment. This agreement is binding on and inures to the benefit of any successors and assigns.
