Test prep season is almost here, and for many students (and teachers!), that means stress, anxiety, and endless drills. But it doesn’t have to be that way! Learning should be fun, even when preparing for big exams. I am big on creating “lifetime learners,” and test prep games have been a huge help in making even the most stressful subject areas enjoyable. 

As a homeschool parent, I’ve seen firsthand how my daughter—who has ASD and is easily overwhelmed—struggles with traditional test prep methods. Worksheets frustrate her, and timed quizzes make her shut down. But I have always been able to find a Boom deck that gamifies the learning and turns stress into fun.
